I can't even begin to express my thanks to you.
This started as a selfish question to make me a better dad. It turns out there are so many other dads who want to be better too. It's an honour to be going on this journey of fatherhood with so many other men. Men like you.
I hope the work you're supporting helps guide you along that journey with more clarity and success.
When I let my mind run off with itself, I often think about the difference having a great dad makes (I think about this stuff a lot). I think about how all of the kids whose dads are being that bit better every day, every week, every month over years. Something I think every dad tries to do, but no other generation has focused on it as much, supported each other more, or challenged tradition with our strength. I imagine the kids with dads like us growing up to be a far better generation than we were. I picture their dads, us, holding their grandchildren for the first time, remembering the first time they became a father and how far they've come.
That's just me dreaming, but as Dizzee Rascal said, borrowing from Oscar Hammerstein's musical, 'if you don't have a dream, how you gonna have a dream come true?'
With your support, maybe it will.
